The 90s. Those were the days. Contests often saw over 50 participants in the under-16 category for slalom, and snakeboarding had a unique spirit that everyone felt. The Just for Fun Team Holledau was at the heart of this, with weekly Snaker meetings at an Edeka parking lot in Wolnzach, organized by Harald Immenhausen with his son Manuel Kaufmann (today: Guggenbichler) and Beate Redl with her son Simon Redl.

The two close friends and cousins Basti and Morris, who had shared life’s milestones, began their snakeboarding journey slowly in 1994 with the Viper, 1995 the Pro, 1996 the Ashley and so on. Then, more than two decades after the last slalom contest, something shifted: The streetboarding scene started to gain new energy, with fresh faces, renewed enthusiasm, and, importantly, new kids, including Basti's son. This resurgence, alongside reconnecting with veterans of the 90s and in memory of Morris, reignited a dream:

Let’s all come together again - young and old, newcomers and veterans, beginners and pros - and revive slalom. Freestyle is spectacular, but slalom unites everyone, even those who aren’t into extreme tricks. Let’s rekindle the passion for our beloved sport, grow the scene, and breathe new life into it - "Just For Fun"
